--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I was embrassed when I could not find the app I installed from Chrome Web Store on my Chrome Extension List page.

     * on my Chrome Extension List page :  top right corner  - tools - extensions

For example, I installed "nGenx nFinity Browser" but I could not find it on my Chrome Extension List page.
And I could see "Rate It" for the app when I searched "ie tab" on the Chrome Web Store as below.

** In left column(categories),
Business Tools ~ Utilities ; Apps
     Extensions

================================================
There seem to be three categories on Chrome Web Store ; Apps, Extensions and Themes.

If what you installed on the Chrome Web Store were  apps, you can see them on  "New Tab" as below.
You can launch an app you want here and you can also delete or create shorcuts etc. as you want by right clicking of your mouse on it.

You can see "LAUNCH APP" when you selected the App.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If what you installed on the Chrome Web Store were Chrome Extensions, you can see them on your  "Chrome Extensions list page.(eg.   top right corner  - tools - extensions)

You can enable, disable or delete them on the page.

You can see "ADDED TO CHROME" when you selected the Extension.

And you can see them on the upper right part of Chrome Browser.

(Extensions installed and enabled in my case)

Themes : Just to decorate(?) your Chrome Browser page

How to install a theme

See if the Chrome Web Store is available in your location.
To install a theme from the Chrome Web Store, follow these steps:
  1. Visit the Web Store at http://chrome.google.com/webstore. You can also reach it by clicking the Web Store icon icon in the “Apps” section of the New Tab page.
  2. Browse or search for the theme you’d like to install.
  3. On the theme's details page, click the Add to Chrome button.
The theme will be applied immediately to the skin of your browser. If you change your mind, just click Undo in the message that appears at the top of page to go back to your previous theme.

More information

  • Sync your themes: Use the sync feature in Google Chrome to use the same theme for Google Chrome across different computers.
  • Reset the theme: You can reset the theme back to the original classic blue theme in the Options dialog. Learn how to reset your theme

**구글은 브라우저 전체를 차지하면 독립된 형태로 구동되는 프로그램(앱?), 기존 크롬 익스텐션, 테마 등을 웹 어플리케이션이라 지칭....
